Hey, I’m Solomon, a College of Charleston alum who turned my passion for boating and business into Palmetto Wake. After graduating and staying rooted in the Lowcountry, I launched this charter service to help people experience Charleston the way locals love it, from the water.
After years in real estate and running my own businesses, I combined my love for the Lowcountry, boating, and entrepreneurship into Palmetto Wake. Whether you’re looking to unwind on a sunset cruise, celebrate with friends on a booze cruise, or host a relaxed corporate outing, I’ve built this experience to be smooth, memorable, and safe from start to finish.
We operate on a 2020 Cobia 280 Dual Console, captained by licensed professionals who know the waters of Charleston like the back of their hand.

Do I need boating experience to charter with you
Not at all! Every charter is fully captained. You just show up and enjoy the ride.
Can we bring our own food and drinks
Absolutely — in fact, we encourage it! You're welcome to bring your favorite snacks, beverages, or even champagne.
How many people can come aboard
It depends on the boat size, but contact us for specific vessel capacities or group arrangements.
Is there anything we should bring?
Sunscreen, towels, sunglasses, and good vibes. We take care of the rest.
What happens if the weather is bad
Safety comes first. If we need to cancel or reschedule due to weather, you’ll get a full refund or the option to rebook.
